What is Reiki energy work?
Everything in life is vibration. Reiki is a Japanese technique for relaxation that also promotes healing done through hands. Warm, soothing energy flows from the hands of the practitioner into the client, guided by divine intelligence, as hands are an extension of the heart. This is where skin meets mind + soul.
Please note that the Reiki practitioners energies are not part of the session and are never depleted.

What is skin purging?
Purging is a normal process that can happen when using new skincare products and active ingredients that help to speed up the process of exfoliation. Active ingredients may include lactic acid, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, etc.
Alpha hydroxy acids (AHA), Beta hydroxy acids (BHA), and Polyhydroxy acids (PHA) are chemical exfoliants used to remove dead skin cells on the surface of the skin, helping new skin cells to generate. This helps to bring congestion up and out to the surface. This is a good sign that your skin is working to get rid of impactions below the skins surface. This may or may not last up to 2 weeks.
